Wont suggest going for it. Social tech only flows from top tier country to down below. This is because its ad business model, so flow is from premium countries to low income ones, based on purchase power. Most social app that prioritized from the middle or low have failed really bad

Time to reach 1bn MAU for some apps: Chatgpt ~3 years TikTok ~ 4 years WhatsApp ~ 7 years Instagram ~ 8 years Facebook ~ 8.5 years Also X, LinkedIn and Snapchat haven’t done it yet.

So now almost every mainstream Social Media app has a dedicated video/shorts button. Latest entry being X, followed by Linkedin, Youtube, Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok. The race for attention is real. Never gonna happen on Medial though.
