But in this case, despite the owner have all the legal papers of his ownership, a mere notification from the Waqf board can take away his rights to deal or sell the property. Not even registration of the property is not possible. 2- The Waqf board is always manned by certain powerful elements, Rowdies & Gundas of that community. Let us assume a Hindu rent a house or commercial property to that X community. If the terms are not right with the owner, he can very well donate the property to Waqf while vacating the property. This act of cheating can be used by Waqf board to claim the ownership. 3- Every property goes to the civil court. But under waqf act, this goes to the Waqf Tribunal which is manned by the community members, politicians and officials who can be bribed.
