Government of West Bengal officials recently had discussions with administrative officials of #Durgapur & Shapoorji Pallonji Group [SP]. SP holds 25 acres of prime land in Bidhan Nagar, Durgapur. The state officials requested SP to construct the IT Park in Durgapur as it was their initial plan, instead of the Housing project which SP was proposing. šŸ“Initial Plan : 2 million sq ft of Office Space, Multiple buildings, food courts, fully equipped clubhouse, integrated serviced apartments, mall, landscaped surroundings, roof top gardens & rainwater harvesting. A 3-star hotel will also be built in this project. During the initial proposal days, Cognizant wanted to have a 1000+ seater office space in this project. This special push is being given to enhance IT industries in Durgapur. If SP INFOCITY DEVELOPERS PRIVATE LIMITED builds the IT Park, it will be the largest such investment outside #Kolkata in West Bengal.
