Deadlines have always worked for me. Over the past 1-2 months, we had a lot of work to complete regarding our product devel. However, in the middle of it, additional tasks kept coming up, such as marketing, managing interns. As a result, we couldnโt focus properly on product devel., which started to create significant challenges for our progress. So, We decided to connect every three days for just 5-10 minutes over a call to share updates on our current work. This helped us identify who was performing well and who was falling behind, whether due to laziness, distractions etc. These short and regular check-ins motivated all of us to stay on track and complete our targets on time. Over time, we saw a noticeable improvement in productivity. I know itโs a simple practice, but sometimes we overlook these small yet impactful habits. So, try to implement feasible deadlines, and choose a leader to take responsibility for following up and organizing regular check-ins every 3-4 days.
