What people consider to be the usefulness of time is also debatable; some money-hungry individuals may even argue that spiritual, artistic pursuits are a waste of time. Also, pessimism is bullshit to an optimistic, ambition is bullshit to a sadist, life is good for the rich, life is unnecessarily harsh to the poor, so everything depends. If this was a conversation between two billionaires, it would be an interesting talk for you. Wait for me to get there and talk about it, then you will ponder what truly is our goal as a civilization.
