Remember, you will never build an empire if you indulge yourself in that race of finding that one magical startup idea which convinces 'you' that could make you rich just like everyone else. All the entrepreneurs who have built something impactful have done it by doing small innovations in big markets i.e TAM. Plz don't focus on the competition too much that you die out of suicide than a murder. Trust me 99.86% people today who are starting up are just figuring out- how to take a small bucket of water out of an ocean. And that ocean is.... E-commerce :) I remember observing these three qualities in all these self-made businessmen over & over & over again- 1) Customer Obsession 2) Poaching highly smart people 3) Finding an unfair advantage I am going to tell you with 4 examples how winners are leveraging 2) point.
