How to initiate the conversation ? When youโre in a community of people relevant to you and you want to network, here are some steps : โณ If you have a mutual friend, ask them to introduce you. This can make the initial connection feel more natural and less forced. โณ Start simply by saying โHiโ and introducing yourself. This often prompts the other person to respond in kind, opening the door for further conversation. From there, you can steer the discussion to any topic of mutual interest. Donโt forget to ask for their contact number or social media profile to stay in touch. During the conversation, feel free to mention your work, services, or product. This gives the other person a chance to understand what you do and possibly see how they could connect with or support your goals. โณ Sometimes, a small gesture like a warm smile can be enough to initiate a conversation. A simple smile may encourage the other person to approach you and start sharing. :)
