Building great products isn't enough if the founder doesn't truly understand the market. I’m amazed by how many entrepreneurs obsess over product-market fit while neglecting founder-market fit. You're the driver of your business, not just the product. If you don't resonate with the problem you're solving, your passion lacks. Ask yourself: 1) Do I have firsthand experience with this market? 2) Is this a space where I can genuinely add value? 3) Am I excited to wake up and dive into this chaos every day? If the answer is no, you might want to reconsider your journey. Product-market fit is vital, but if founder-market fit is off, you’re running a marathon without training.
