At some point you will feel like yelling about your idea loud and clear because you will have built something but no one would know about it. At least if you start sharing your idea and building in public from day 1. you might just gain some insights or an early user or two with no marketing spent.

There is no ownership on ideas man, and sharing your idea in exchange of finding collaborators or opinions or suggestions on possible blindspots from people who might have tried it but failed is still a better bet compared to going in blind in your own echochamber.
