In 2020, Reddit overhauled its rules: • Explicitly banned hate speech • Prohibited bullying and harassment 3: Empower moderators Reddit gave unpaid moderators more tools: This led to faster response to rule-breaking content. Community-led moderation became Reddit's secret weapon. Step 4: Introduce new ad formats.
