Just as we look at India’s second-hand car market, we can similarly look at India’s second-hand mobile market. There is still a significant gap here, especially in Tier 3 and Tier 4 cities. While there are some startups in Tier 1 cities, no one is currently operating in Tier 3 and Tier 4 cities where second-hand smartphones are mainly sold.

True, start from tier 2 and then if it works then expanding to Tier 3 and Tier 4 cities for second-hand smartphones could tap into an underserved market with huge potential but first try to do it in a well in tier 2

Logistical challenges and lower internet penetration in these areas are why it's not happening yet. Think about it, indian social media had the plan to bring the tier 2 and 3 folks to the dank level of insta users but then advertisers realised no one from tier 2 and 3 are buying stuff so ad rev went down and so sharechat and all started to struggle. Look at koo and chingari and all.
