I just wanted to meet some day traders and network with them. If possible also look at opportunities/holes in the market to fill. Am interested in day trading as well, but someone who's been doing it since a long time will know more about the problem

Only because of not giving handsome returns and takes time for results, avoiding investing in SEO is utter BS. It's definetly going to backfire you sooner. (I may sound harsh, but that's reality.)

What matters to you having a right co-founder with complimentary skill sets? Find a co-founder if you have not yet, because doing alone for long time may be frustrating.
