In the last one year, I have noticed a new pattern in ETFs. If the index falls by 2%, your ETF will fall by 2.5%. If the index grows by 5%, your ETF will only grow by 3%. This extra gap is not adjusted later by the AMC in India. This means that ETFs

I don't think it's happening. Such a big error rate will wrongly impact the AMCs reputation. You might be comparing two wrong scrips. For example, if you compare Nifty 50 index with banknifty ETF, there will never be any match. So check and match the benchmark index correctly.
