Perhaps there are other criteria they considered while ranking the ideas, beyond just originality. May be some specific parameters they used, such as the clarity of the concept, execution, or potential impact.

still bro , I've seen few ideas like clydo drones and granty in showcase with clarity of concept , their description and comment section tells that ,their execution and potential impact would also so much greater

imo, we Indians pay for only 5 things 1. Food 2. House 3. Kid's marriage and education 4. Anything that can give them hope for making rich (like zerodha, stocks etc) 5. Credit / lending
