The MBA curriculum globally, from Harvard Business School to IIM, is largely shaped by right-leaning ideologies that prioritize financial perspectives while neglecting vital sociological insights. It assumes that markets will always grow, populations will continue to expand, and free speech will remain out of reach for most. However, these notions are being challenged in developed economies due to slowing population growth and the influence of social media and technology, leading to demands for better work-life balance and more humane workplaces, as well as greater inclusivity and decentralization. Yet, instead of addressing these pressing issues, business schools seem content to ignore 50% of the curriculum focused on left leaning issues like sociology, anthropology, politics, psychology, and population studies, as if understanding human behaviour is just an optional extra. #mba #harvard #iim #curriculum
