You gotta test the waters. Do a freemium model – keep the basic stuff free, but charge for the premium features once people are hooked. Works for Spotify, works for you
What model would you guys prefer for a service based business? A freemium model, monthly/annual premium subscription model or pay as you use model? Why?
There are 4 types of customers:
1. Price sensitive
2. Quality and price oriented
3. Quality oriented
4. Exclusivity driven
Today most of the brands are focusing on the 2nd and 3rd types of customers. Many SaaS companies offer various pricing plans
I think Spotify made itself a personal brand for every individual. Whoever I am asking which music app do you use , they mostly say 'Spotify' with confidently as they are proud of using it.
