The Hell is going on ๐ฅ American cryptocurrency giant Binance has accused the WazirX team and its founder. Nischal Shetty, of "misleading" customers and the broader market about the nature of their relationship. "The WazirX team and Nischal Shetty continue to mislead WazirX customers and the market regarding the relationship between WazirX and Binance. Binance has not owned, controlled, or operated WazirX at any time, including before, during, or after the July 2024 attack." Binance further urged the WazirX team, operating under Zanmai/ Zettai, to take responsibility for WazirX users and compensate them for the funds lost under their management. The company emphasized that WazirX's obligation to its users is entirely separate from its ongoing dispute with Binance. Their attempts to shift responsibility is a disappointing deflection tactic, but it should not distract anyone from the glaring issue to be addressed here.
