If you are a businessman or starting your own and your idea is truly exceptional you will get funding and the same is demonstrated by PhonePe One of the best decisions of Indian startup history was when Flipkart bought Phonepe. But why so ? Let me explain. In 2016, Phonepe was acquired by Flipkart for $15 Million OR 130 Cr. but the interesting part is that Phonepe’s app wasn’t even launched. And in just 8 years, its valuation has gone from 130 CR. to more than 1 Lakh crore. That means in just 8 years more than 700 times return. Not 700% but 700x (times). And the app was launched 3 months later that means Flipkart invested so much money just on their idea. And today, with 49% market share Phonepe dominates the UPI system. But one thing is known from this that even if you do not have any product, but if your idea is very revolutionary then people are ready to invest in you and your idea. Share the value with someone who may need it.
