I don't know what is wrong with folks these days, A Bengaluru women slams TATA owned big basket for sending her free flowers on Onam. "So according to Big basket we should celebrate Onam we like it or not it is not upto us, it is upto them" she wrote on her X (Twitter) account which immediately sparked a heated debate. "By fighting for things like these you are diluting your rightful fight" an X user replied "Stop making everything an issue I had received gifts on Yugadi as well, by playing such cheap tricks you are only bringing hatred to our people" replied an another. But I don't understand one thing, are people literally having issue when they receive a free gift on any festival because we all know that BigBasket sends free gifts on every major festival irrespective of the religion and now people are also having problem with it. Don't know what is really going on with folks these days. Thank you.

Some people are just sad living sad and hurtful lives and sometimes it spills out on to unsuspecting folks around them and then they are shocked that OMG, not everyone has such deep rooted hatred about everything around us. It's just sad, I guess it's true when they say "hurt people, hurt people"

This lady made a mountain out of a molehill. If BigBasket sent gifts during other festivals too, then where's the problem? Why are we suddenly offended by everything? It’s not like they’re making you follow Onam traditions or something. People just love controversy these days.

Bro, people are offended by free flowers now? This whole thing seems like an overreaction. BigBasket’s been doing this for ages, sending gifts during Diwali, Eid, Christmas, everything. Suddenly it’s an issue for Onam? It’s just flowers, not some hidden agenda. People are too sensitive these days, man
