I have recently watched a podcast of Ranveer alahbadia with Economist Ruchir sharma and it have a very good discussion about future of india in terms of GDP abd about past trends and comparison between India, America and China in terms of growth and career advice. Ruchir Sharma knows his stuff, but it’s still frustrating that we keep comparing ourselves to the U.S. and China. We need to fix our internal problems first – education, infrastructure, etc. Loved his no-nonsense career advice though.

Ruchir Sharma is one of the few economists who doesn’t go full ‘India will rule the world.’ His take was super balanced – we’re growing, but comparing us to China or America is still a bit premature.
