Even without a community, it’s useful—if you get lost, you can retrace your steps with guide mode. You can also mark spots like danger zones, drinking water, trail start/end points on the map. Having the ability to mark danger zones and retrace steps could be a real lifesaver only if you survive to mark the danger zone afterward lol. Otherwise if you're gone, then who will mark danger zone.
