𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗜’𝗺 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱. I usually avoid posting about personal projects, especially ones that come from uncomfortable experiences. I also don’t enjoy dramatic storytelling, so I’ll keep this simple. A couple of years ago, I had two hiking trips where I realized I wasn’t as prepared as I thought. Once, I got stuck at around 𝟱,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝘁 during a sudden storm. The temperature dropped close to 𝟰°𝗖, and there was no signal. I eventually got out safely, but it stayed with me. Another time, during a hike on unfamiliar terrain, we lost our way while climbing down. The ascent looked straightforward — just a grassy slope — but on the way back we ended up inside a dense forest with no visible trail. We knew the direction of the exit, but couldn’t find a path. It took a few hours, following a river, to get out. Nothing dramatic happened in the end. But those moments made me more careful. So I built a small app for myself called 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗯𝗹𝗮𝘇𝗲𝗿 (earlier called Travelogram). It’s a 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗚𝗣𝗦 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗿. It records where you go and lets you retrace your steps later — even when there’s no network. There are 𝗻𝗼 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻-𝘂𝗽𝘀, 𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀, 𝗻𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴. Your trails stay on your phone. If you choose to share a trail, it’s just a file — via apps like WhatsApp, or even over Bluetooth if there’s no internet. --- I’ve been using this quietly for a while now. It’s not a big launch or a startup pitch. I’m sharing it because I genuinely believe tools like this can help people travel with a little more confidence — and maybe help someone find their way back to the people waiting for them. Exploration should end with stories, not worry. With memories, not close calls. If Trailblazer helps even one person see their loved ones again, that’s more than enough for me. “I’m just waiting for the perfect time to start posting.” Bro… it’s been 18 months. There’s no perfect time. There’s now, and there’s never. Your traffic doesn’t care about your timing. It cares about your consistency. Drop a “starting today” if
