Internships are the best way to learn and gain experience. I have seen people who simply refuse to look for internships. They'll just be studying and taking courses. As a freshman, you should definitely learn in a real-life environment. It will teach you more than any course. When you're starting out, you need to gain experience by learning. Don't always look for money. Money is important, but if you get a chance to work or learn, you should look for value. It will compound over time. Be hungry to learn and grow yourself.
