An open freelance platform is fantastic for connecting talented individuals with diverse opportunities. Just Bring traffic of enough people who do and people who want things to be done is the problem.

Do they risk oversaturating the market and driving down rates for freelancers? It might become harder for individuals to stand out and earn a fair wage. I mean in the beginning things do seem noble and idealistic but let it become big enough. Everyone will have to offer cheapest rates to get enough attention.
