Hey guys I hope you are doing good, I had worked in a freelance company in May for free as a UI designer although the company stated this in its email - that until they get any paid projects they won't pay and also that I am having no obligations to the company and the company has no obligations on me. Keeping this in mind I used that design in my portfolio and now they are saying that I have to remove it from my portfolio. Even though I worked equally hard on it. 1. They didn't paid me (This was a paid project which they should pay for). 2. Neither did they gave me any certificate or proof of working there. 3. Nor did I signed any non disclosure agreement. 4. And now I am not even allowed to keep what is mine in my portfolio. This means that I have just wasted my one month for a company which at the end doesn't even cared about me and kicked me out even before my official resignation date. And now they are asking to remove that project from my portfolio. What should I do?
