Nitin Gadkari Sir in recent interview said "I will ask Finance Minister for additional 10% GST on diesel vehicles" "We have to leave petrol and diesel soon and walk on the new path of being pollution free" While I agree and strongly believe in this great initiative but it's not that easy as he thinks , for a middle class family like ours shifting from one to other is quite difficult when there are not enough "CHARGING STATIONs". we folks can only shift when we have full trust and what about the mechanics etc who are skilled for IC engines . Still think it's too early for tier 3 cities.

Transitioning to electric vehicles sounds good on paper, but the ground reality is different. Charging stations are scarce, and the cost of EVs is still high. It’s not easy for the common man.

Great initiative, but the reality is different. Without enough charging stations and affordable EV options, it's tough for us to switch. It’s a big ask for families already struggling with expenses.

It's really difficult as of now as their are not much charging stations and a sudden shift is not feasible for people and how much they increase this taxes they are already charging a lot at each and every step
