Key Insights: 📌 The upfront cost of EVs is higher than petrol, diesel and CNG vehicles, but government subsidies can significantly reduce this difference. 📌 EVs have a much lower fuel cost per kilometer than petrol, diesel and CNG vehicles. 📌 EVs also have lower lifetime maintenance costs than petrol and diesel vehicles. Of course, there are some other important factors to consider when choosing a new car, such as the availability of charging stations for EVs and refueling stations for CNG vehicles. However, EVs are becoming a more and more cost-competitive option, especially for drivers who plan on driving their car for a long time.

I think the battery replacement charges are not included. 1,00,000 or 8 years is genaral replacement cycle of battery which almost costs upto 80% of the cost of the vehicle.

This data will be much more useful if we have data for average time taken by the vehicle to reach 200,000 km. Because the EV price is greater than 60% compared to ICE vehicles. If we have the avg time, we can calculate how much the extra money paid to an EV will increase in this timeframe.
