It may not be relevant to startups or something, but I just want to share something. I am in 4th year, and my placement season started. Till new two companies visited our college. One was 25 LPA, and another is 7 LPA. I didn't make it the 25LPA one. But for 7LPA one, I was confident I could do it. 7LPA drive has happened today. first round was MCQs. There were 50 questions, and you know what? I am literally confident that I got 46-47 questions correct out of 50. then 1st round results came out, only 15 were selected out of 750 candidates. surprising part for me is the cut off was 49/50 I was like, WTF. I just got totally demotivated and depressed. I am thinking of myself: can I crack any company or will I be unplaced?I have been thinking of this the whole time. I have literally great projects in my resume, am also good in computer fundamentals, and can do good DSA, not high-level DSA. Now I realise sometimes life will be unfair and you have to accept it.

Listen carefully, don't depend on campus placements no matter what. Start looking for off campus as well. It'll be hard but it is worth trying out fr.

I am also went through from this experience last year 🙂. I rejected by 4 companies on campus. I don't have any other option in my hand i knew that I have to crack the placement. I managed to crack the 5th one. I know you heard this thing lots of times but still I am saying just believe in yourself. Don't care what other people have to say. I have only one suggestion that I used to follow that time "Stay away from negative mind" and try to surround yourself with some good people who are there to motivate you.
