YC has great articles about their founders doing things that don't scale like airbnb and pinterest to say the few. Just start bro, don't wait for money to come in, no amount will ever feel enough to start. Better to learn to do epic shit with limited resources so when you do get funded and have enough resources, you can own a huge chunk of the market.
