India has faced issues in creating a top mobile brand because we lack strong R&D and our brands aren’t seen as premium like Apple or Samsung. We also struggle with supply chains and don’t produce at the same scale, making our phones more expensive and less innovative. Plus, people in India trust international brands more, especially in the high-end market.
