I would like to develop a small hotel management and booking application. The application will have both admin and user sides: hotel staff can update details on the admin side, while users can interact by booking rooms and browsing hotel photos, videos, and room details. I aim to create a web application and would like to use the MakeMyTrip API for booking rooms. Additionally, I want to securely store all guest details, including a photo of their government ID, name, address, and phone number, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations. Only the hotel manager and owner will have access to view, update, or delete guest details from the admin side, while hotel staff will have limited access to update hotel information. The application should also be able to email or WhatsApp guests their hotel bills from the admin side, accessible only to authorized personnel. I do not want to hire anyone or purchase unnecessary themes and plugins, as I am the only one working on this project and have limited resources. I am asking this because I am not a developer, but I believe I can accomplish this if I know where to start. So, where do I begin?
