The Fear of Every Father: How Do We Protect Our Daughters in Today’s India? As a father, I never imagined I'd be this scared for my daughter's future. In 2021 alone, 31,677 rape cases were registered in India—an average of 86 daily, with nearly 89% committed by someone the victim knew. The Moumita Debnath case highlights this grim reality. Outrage and protests abound, but where are the solutions? We need a revolution in leadership, governance, and societal values. What if we elected leaders based on education, ethics, and integrity? It's time we recognize that our votes are powerful and could shape a safer future for our daughters. Let's brainstorm and find ways to bring about this change. Share your thoughts in the comments. There will always be crime as long as there is the belief of the self being above everyone else. What we do to each other, we also do to kids, the animals around us. Shouldn't just stop at making the world a safer place for women, but for everyone. Any suggestions?
