Why Startbucks CEO is not Indian ? Tata doesn't have shares in Starbucks. Now look at the picture below In the picture you can see it's written “Starbucks Coffee A TATA Alliance. This is because in India Starbucks operates as a joint venture known as Tata Starbucks Private Limited in which Starbucks has 50% shares and TATA Consumers has 50% shares only in India. TATA needs lot's of investors support for changing ceo in Starbucks Laxman Narasimhan was the old ceo of Starbucks but now Brian Niccol is the new CEO of full Starbucks company but intresting part is tata has still power to control Starbuck indian market.
