Not feasible and even if feasible, how are you going to cover your overhead costs for vans/dark stores, delivery partners etc. Maybe it is possible if you partner with existing kirana stores, get them onboard and use them as a dark store. Based on location, products would be shown from the nearest kirana store and you just facilitate it but then quality control would be an issue and you don't know the Kirana's speed for packing up products for shipping, or if you partner with Kiranas to go completely online and sell exclusively for your platform. (Kind of a franchise) With your gig workers making the operations efficient and also the delivery but then you'll have to go for batch deliveries which would kill the original idea of 5 mins delivery. All in all, I think I speak for everyone when I say, we can wait for 10 mins for 5 kg Atta and good day biscuit.

I think 200m is to sharp.if you can make it working with in 1Km then also its a game changer no worries ..only focus on reducing the cost and make few other revenue sources then you can dive on this any day.

Your working model is good but it's very hectic. At the end of the day, price matters. If you can compete with the prices of giants then you can succeed. Your plan is tough but it's not impossible. Our ideas might look easy on papers, so do real research before executing the idea

Is the 5 min statement really justified as even if the stores are just 200m away you still need time for - finding product in inventory - inventory checkout - delivery time - as the targets are upper middle class apartments so you will to follow the security protocols - time to reach the exact flat

The idea is not worth trying! If you are working for those quickcommerce giants then it is a great project to try. But as an individual looking for doing such startup, it will be better to rethink it !!

If dark store and normal store are only 200 mtrs away then I would prefer normal store, I don't want to spend on delivery charges, if you open a supermarket with free delivery will be profitable.

There are big entry barriers in this market. 1- I don't know, what's the market size of quick commerce, but there are big players who has large share of this market. 2- zepto and blinkit has most portion of quick commerce, even after them there are big companies like instamart, bigbazar, jiomart, etc. 3- these all companies are still in loss. 4- your business model is much complex than these companies which will make your company's survival difficult. 4- Your USP is delivery time and delivery cost, which will not provide you enough space to make profit, because of the business model complexity. I am not giving you negative reviews, just telling you to revise your idea to reduce cost.

I have a contrary view. I want to build a no frills 7am delivery with affordablility focused company like dmart prices. Delivery by single person to 100+ orders. Close order previous day by 10 pm so can build a low inventory model
