Elon's Algorithm (extreme but effective) With this, Tesla factories produced 4,000 cars per week when 1,000 cars was considered ambitious by the industry. 1. Question every requirement: Make sure that every task or action you take is fully tied to the most important business goals. 2. Delete: Of the things you are working on, start deleting tasks until it makes you uncomfortable. A good rule of thumb is that if you are not adding 10% of those tasks back later, you are not deleting enough. 3. Simplify: After the first two steps above are completed, think outside the box before you start, to see if there is a way to simplify the task. A common mistake is to simplify and optimize a part or a process that should not exist. 4. Accelerate: After you simplify, try to spend a little bit of time brainstorming to see how you can do the tasks faster. 5. Automate: This step applies only after doing a task many times and knowing it must be automated for progressing. This comes last as automating too early can lead to inefficient automation of unnecessary tasks. That's it :)
