Focusing more on brand value will help in a long way. Create a brand story as in what you want customers to feel through your brand. Make unique, interesting content that portrays your brand values and gain community through social media platforms. Give something valuable to the minds of customer apart from providing great quality product. People would prefer buying something that represents something they like. Ofcourse you should focus on ads as well. But for a great brand story , Marketing and Advertising are like Buy 1 Get 2 free. Hope it helps.
