Are IITs Overrated ? Maybe YES 🤔 Based on the current era and generation, I personally think yea it is. IITs are well known for their networking. I have a argument: Every year thousands of students gets admitted to IIT and Thousands of alumni are there. People think you can get connected with the alumni easily. It's a lie. Will a successful alumni be such a free person to connect with you ? Why would he connect with you , just because you are from same college? And give his time to a random students where every year new people are admitted. People say IITs have given best founders and unicorn startups - I agree but see the age of founder, he is not young as you think. In recent times I haven't heard successful startups by a IIT alumni. Competing for a exam and spending 2-3years totally, Is it worth? maybe yes maybe not No doubt IITs have best facilities but instead of preparing completely why not excelling in a skill. In future the perception of IIT will definitely change
