Once I started freelancing just bcz I can get foreign clients, which baragin less and actually understand seller.... Trend going other way...

I feel that to run a marketplace you need to have flywheel effect, i.e more buyers attract more freelancers, more freelancers bring competition, in turn reducing prices and improving quality. Good freelancers attract more buyers. To build this wheel you need more people, restricting it to India would be axe on foot.
