What is RG Kar Medical College r*pe and mu*der case? On August 2024 the body of 31-year-old postgraduate trainee was found dead in a seminar room at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata. Her body bore multiple injuries, and initial autopsy reports reported bleeding from the eyes, mouth, and private parts, raising suspicions of sexual assault and foul play. The case has sparked significant public outrage and protests, especially among the medical community, due to the brutal nature of the crime and concerns over safety in hospitals. The police have arrested Sanjay Roy, who has a history of alleged misconduct, as the prime suspect. According to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), in 2021 there were 31,677 cases of rape reported across the country and 31,319 cases in 2022. The actual number might be higher because not all rapes are reported due to fear. What accoding to you can be the potential solutions of this problem as laws are already very strict in these cases.

May sound insane and evil but I believe that direct hanging and prosecution are short term and create no fear. The rapists being comvicted in this manner believe themselves to be heroic and masculine for their inhumane actions. This was utter clear keeping an account of the nirbhaya case. Hence certain punishments must be charged on rapists which will give them a life time trauma. Something that would terrify a normal human, something that would haunt ppl with such mindset, something after the use of which, one wouldn't have the nerve to commit such atrocities.
