A company that copies everything from its competitors with 0 R&D cannot compete globally. Aman is a CA graduate and not an engineering graduate. He cannot innovate the brand. All he knows is some gimmicky marketing that won't help the brand in the long run

There is still a stigma that if some foreign faces are advertised then that endorsement is likely to raise the status of the particular product or service. I also don't like this but there are whole lot of other factors like media, Bollywood etc which have imbeded a western influence in Indian youth

They want be a global brand and that's why they are doing these type of marketing also they already approached many indian celebrities for advertising . Ceo of boat Aman is literally guiding few entrepreneur in shark tank india and giving lots of knowledge on tv so all these things are just for marketing purposes .

I wonder if it's less about shame and more about tapping into certain aspirations or perceptions. Maybe they think foreign faces will make the product seem more 'premium' or 'global'? It's kinda messed up when you think about it - like, are they saying Indian faces can't represent quality?

India's a huge market with diverse tastes. Maybe some consumers do respond better to foreign models? It's not great, but businesses often go with what sells, you know?

What really gets me thinking is - why do we associate 'foreign' with 'better'? That's the real issue, isn't it? It's not just about the ads, it's about how we value ourselves and our own culture.
