In the Startup Contest, I can see lots of Upvotes from new user who joined on August month for the top Upvoted startups. Hope this can be rectified if it's a spam - Self upvotes. Which we don't want, As it can Leave the most valuable ideas left out, Because of self spam upvotes. Medial Team requesting you guys to work on this part as all top startup upvotes are newly joined users.

Yeah in the beginning I thought same but letter my idea too got some votes from these accounts So I think all of them are not spams but yes majority of them are

Can somebody please explain how the startup showcase contest on medial works? How do they rank the startup ideas (Upvotes, etc?)? And do we need a minimum viable product (MVP) to improve our chances of winning?

My startup ideas reaching upvotes with no push or requesting. Users love it and leaving me a vote and a DM about my idea specifics. BUT I still receive DM to demand a vote from me and to mention those people start-ups got more upvotes and it top 5 -
