How to Increase Virtual RAM to Make Your Computer Faster 1. Right-click on "My Computer" and choose "Properties." 2. Go to the 'Advanced' tab. 3. Under 'Performance', click on 'Settings'. 4. Click on the "Advanced" tab in the new window. 5. At the bottom, find "Virtual Memory" and click on "Edit". 6. Select the 'Custom Size' option. 7. For the initial size, type in a number between 1000 and 1500 (I use 4000). For the maximum size, type in a number between 2000 and 2500 (I use 6000). 8. Click "Set", then close all windows. 9. Restart your computer. 10. Your computer should now be faster, with 1-6 GB of virtual RAM based on what you chose in step 7. Share ur thoughts 🧐
