The fragmentation in the gaming space is real. One thing to consider though - how would you handle different game genres? Like, comparing achievements across an FPS and an MMO could be apples and oranges.

I plan on making an achievement catalog of the user. Along with some generic ratings based on their trust factors and ratings given by other players. What I would like to think of this section is like a LinkedIn for gamers. Using LinkedIn as my analogy, consider this, every rank/rating for your games you played and want to show off becomes something like your job experience or expertise. And any your crew mate can always commend / approve of your ratings similar to what users have on LinkedIn.
