The only startup I found worthy of upvoting is Wayuu( A waste to treasure startup)

If we don't market it some way by posting on Medial or atleast DMing those once whom we know, then probably won't get upvotes. See, when you open Medial Showcase page, it will show you most upvoted 's on top .A normal person won't have time to read every startup description and hence will read about a few on top and will simply quit the page. How will the idea at bottom of list get upvoted if they are not viewed . Remember the startup added late in list might also be at bottom.

I agree. I also recieved such DMS and then found that maybe this is the way they are getting Upvotes. To secure my position I tried to do the same but just sent 2 or 3 people and stopped because this is a cheap way to market your product.

Ahh thanks for reminding me...I was wondering where should I spread my startup post.I was literally searching on medial and sending to the people I know. Yeah your right.I agree with you .

Thats true. I feel like posting on medial about ur idea is very low effort. Posting on Linkedin also means that participants thinks it's a good idea and worth effort.
