Many companies have issues with matching algorithms using language, gender and much more. they are afraid of implementing them or maybe they are doing it from their side. I don't know. but whenever the topic is about the public feeling bad or government policies regarding a simple algorithm, a feature of matching algo changes. but government has done it for years. IRCTC never matches two teenage or middle-aged opposite people near together. until they are booked by a single person. I wonder why other companies just follow that. I have some scenarios here: 1. Deepinder Goyal was thrashed by the audience when he implemented green and red bags to make it a great experience for people. 2. many cab drivers in Banglore are mocking other state people to speak Kannada and many more. why not just make a non-transparent algo match of language match without knowing people? There are many issues, mocking and news headlines destroyed best consumer experience. I understand deepinder goyal did it to make people feel better. but some things need to be hidden and should not be spoken about but they just need to go on in a way. All I would say is if you are implementing anything in the barrier of gender, locality, language and religion for the good of people and better experience. i would say just implement it in behind rather than letting people know. this saves lots of drama and humiliation for the company and the people.
