We shouldn't judge all street vendors based on a few bad examples. There are some who don't maintain hygiene, but many provide great, clean food and contribute positively to the market.

No there is perception like that west is creating among India compare to others nations our is street food good in America Europe there are so many unhygienic places but in India some places are unhygienic but not compare as west

Only some maintain hygiene man.Rest of all are unhygienic.In case of street foods they use the same oil 5 times to prepare the food.

I can't give you a percentage but I'm pretty sure that it's mostly unhygienic. It depends on the place you take your food really. I know some places where the food tastes amazing and they prepare it following some standards. But then, I've seen the other extreme as well!
