Hey I'm thinking of starting a SaaS company which helps schools to send student info to their parents using schools dedicated apps. Will this work?. Or any suggestions?
You already have a lot of competitors like campuscare etc. See how you can do better than them
It will mostly target teir 1 and 2 city school s
Honest suggestion, this space is too too crowded We started it, scaled it a little bit and then shut it. Dekh lo :)
There is already an app ( I can't recall the name but my school used to use it ) providing similar services, the app includes test marks, daily dairy, attendance etc. almost all the necessary stuff
I have a similar idea. I sent you a dm. Please check.
High level technology expertise se software development kr ke competition ko km kr skte ho
Rather than that you can create an outreach saas tool which reaches to potential leads for their admissions
Parent's teacher meeting like of fear everyday...😅
There are lots of company doing this but what is your value proposition, differentiation is important. First you find out these things then start. And also think biggger size...
Already lot of solutions available! What will b the difference
Consider a freemium model to attract schools. Offer basic features for free and charge for advanced ones. This way, schools can try it without risk and see the value before they pay. One challenge might be the tech differences between schools. Some have the latest gadgets, while others have basic setups. Make sure your app works well even with low internet speeds to be useful for everyone.
Attend educational conferences, get endorsements from educational influencers, and consider offering webinars or demos to showcase your product. Word of mouth in the education sector can be powerful, especially if you can get a few key schools to adopt your system early on.
I think this is a great idea! Schools are always looking for better ways to communicate with parents. Your SaaS could streamline communication, sending updates on grades, attendance, and events directly to parents. Plus, if you can integrate features like push notifications and multilingual support, it could be a game-changer for schools with diverse student bodies
You baccho ko marne pe tule ho bhai
See if others came and failed and why they failed, check how much schools can you sell to - 1- who don’t have solution 2- who already have solution, why would they switch to you (reason must not be lower cost) 3- if you get schools, you can easily get parents. Target schools what is the gap that they know/ don’t know but exists. 4- Is the gap(problem) high intensity problem or high frequency problem, if its low for both, probably the problem needed to be iterated again. Good Luck!
