Google offered 60x revenue to Wiz! Let that sink in. 60x the annual revenue. I admire the founders and investors who can say no to US$23B valuation. Even if the company hits US$1B in late 2024 (looks unlikely) or mid 2025 (most likely), they should be valued at 15x forward revenue of let’s say US$1.5B, implying the valuation in mid 2025 as US$23B. So Google offered a significant premium to the business today. But the founders predict a much larger pay day if they go IPO. Do you think, the founders took the right decision?
