It is interesting to see Amazon interested in buying out in the Qcommerce space rather than building out. Whereas, Flipkart decided to build in this space. What are your thoughts?

Swiggy is not going to sell the stake in instamart. The future is quick commerce not e-commerce especially in India.

With blinkit, dunzo, bbnow and Zepto already established. Amazon buying out could be a quick way to gain foothold in this competitive space. Flipkart, being an Indian company/having the team, might be more confident in building a solution that caters specifically to Indian consumers. They tried their hands on acquisition too, a while back. Which didn’t work out.

Imo Amazon buying out means they get instant market presence and can leverage existing infrastructure. But, integration can be a nightmare - different company cultures and processes can clash. That would be bad, pre-IPO

How Amazon and Flipkart used to avoid scam by sellers during early days? I am asking when Fulfilment by Amazon and Flipkart was not very prominent. I have heard in news channels that one guy ordered laptop through Flipkart have received bricks.
