Truecaller Stole My #Idea ? 😟 That’s how many aspiring #entrepreneurs feel when they see someone else launching or starting up with an idea they had. It's a unique, albeit naive, feeling. I had this idea of an #AI personal assistant picking calls on your behalf and providing a summary. Additionally, there would be a module where callers send a brief summary before they want to call. This would let users decide if they want to pick the call right now, schedule it for later, or cancel it. Especially for, 1. People like me who hate talking over phone 2. Busy people etc etc I even named it AskNdCall, worked on a prototype, but later got distracted with another project. Now, seeing this AI module in Truecaller gave me the feeling of a missed #opportunity But the #lesson here is: 1. Everyone has ideas; #execution is what matters. 2.
